Kelly has risen through the ranks over the past few years and is now one of Britain’s top 400m female athletes.
From being introduced to the world of athletics by her primary school teacher it’s not been an easy ride.
Illnesses have played havoc on Kelly’s athletics career during the time most would consider to be their peek years and resulting in her unable to qualify for London 2012 Olympics.
Resilience and determination meant that she never gave up and learnt a lot along the way. British 400m Champion and a double Commonwealth Games medallist Kelly achieved her dream, by taking home the bronze medal at the Rio Olympics in the 4 x 400m relay!
