Every athlete faces tough times, whether it’s injury, defeat, or personal challenges. In this talk, our athletes open up about the adversity they have experienced and how they found the strength to bounce back. Pupils will learn about the importance of resilience, determination, and staying positive in difficult situations. These are valuable lessons they can use in school, sport, and life.
What makes a team truly successful? Our athletes reveal the secrets behind high performing teams, whether it is a sports squad, a relay team, or a support network behind the scenes. They share how trust, clear roles, good communication, and a shared goal lead to outstanding results. Pupils will learn how these lessons apply not just in sport, but in school groups, projects, and friendships too.
Staying motivated is not always easy, even for elite athletes. In this talk, pupils will hear how our athletes stay focused, pick themselves up after setbacks, and keep striving for their best. They share tips and mindset techniques pupils can use to stay motivated in school, sport, and life.
I was lucky enough to be involved in one of Lauren’s group Q/A at a sports camp. Lauren was VERY inspiring for all the children, but not just the Children, myself included. That was just in 30 minutes. A few of the children came up to me in school a couple of weeks after the camp, and told me they have started swimming, and want to break records just like Lauren. Very Inspiring!
Lauren has a great skill in helping you to feel and see how to improve. She explains things really clearly and pushes you to reach your potential. She also makes time to have a laugh or two!
