His international swimming career also includes a silver medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi and a European Junior Championship silver in 2007.

Throughout his career, Grant competed on the world stage, making his global debut at the 2011 World Championships in Shanghai as part of the British sprint squad. His Olympic selection was secured with an impressive silver medal performance in the 100m Freestyle at the 2012 Olympic Trials.
