Charlie Walker is a record breaking British explorer, endurance athlete and author who has travelled more than 60,000 miles using only human power.

Whether cycling through 60 countries, crossing the Gobi Desert on foot or paddling through remote parts of the Congo, Charlie’s expeditions push the limits of what the human body and mind can endure.

Charlie shares inspiring stories of resilience, focus and determination in the face of extreme challenges. He has survived subzero temperatures, wild animals, illness and isolation all while maintaining a strong belief in pushing boundaries and growing through discomfort. His talks are ideal for helping young people understand how much they are capable of when they keep going, even when it gets tough.

He is a four time winner of the Transglobe Expedition Trust’s Mad but Marvellous award and a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society. Charlie has written for national newspapers, featured on BBC Radio 4 and appeared on podcasts including The Joe Rogan Experience.
