Lauren Quigley is a competitive swimmer who has represented GB at the FINA world championships and England in the Commonwealth Games.
She underlined her potential as a 16-year old, winning her first British senior medal with 50m Backstroke bronze at the 2011 British Gas Swimming Championships, then adding a European junior record and gold on her international debut at the European Junior Championships in Belgrade.
Lauren continues a tradition of world class swimmers in her family, her mother Yvonne Stanley having swam internationally and her aunt Gaynor Stanley having competed for Team GB at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
Lauren Quigley has created and developed her own business (Quigley Sport), which provides a range of services to support athletes, including coaching, athlete mentoring, swim clinics and motivational talks.
Lauren is incredibly excited to be working with inspired athletes, to share her experience from 18+ years of performance swimming, Lauren can’t wait to transfer her knowledge, support and range of talk topics.
I was lucky enough to be involved in one of Lauren’s group Q/A at a sports camp. Lauren was VERY inspiring for all the children, but not just the Children, myself included. That was just in 30 minutes. A few of the children came up to me in school a couple of weeks after the camp, and told me they have started swimming, and want to break records just like Lauren. Very Inspiring!
